The renowned beauty of the Balearic island of Mallorca is nowhere more apparent than at the peninsula of Formentor, a protected haven of pine forests, bedazzling coves, white sandy beaches, sparkling waters, and tranquility.

The scenery is jaw-droppingly spectacular with steep cliffs which reach 400 metres in some places. The Formentor Peninsula definitely has some of the most striking views of the Mediterranean coastline on Mallorca. The Northeast of Mallorca offers an attractive international flair, beautiful mountains, fantastic beaches, several protected Nature Reserves and a famous golf course close to Canyamel, which as been built without much interference in the natural environment. The course which is considered as very difficult is surrounded by palm trees, almond trees and fig trees.
